Group Dog Walking in Livingston
Group Dog Walking
Walking dogs together is a great opportunity to see how dogs communicate with each other in a group environment. Dogs are social animals and enjoy feeling part of a pack. Playing, exercising and walking together in group dog walking sessions gives them the opportunity to have the company of other dog breeds and sizes. It’s also good chance to practice on and off leash behaviour.
Some dogs will be used to walking in a group situation if, for example, they already share their home with other dogs or perhaps pet owners have occasionally arranged to walk their dogs together in the park. Group walking with your dogs is more than just a walk, its a very complex and sensual activity in which the bonding process between all of the dogs and with the human is strengthened and defined.
Our Group Dog Walking Prices:
Professional dog walkers always plan the dog walks well in advance, from the places and parks we choose for the walk, to the dogs we select to make up a particular dog walking group. We understand the importance of placing certain breeds and sizes with other dogs of similar exercise level requirements and ability.
No dog should ever feel overwhelmed or have to walk faster or longer than any other dog in the group. The walk should always be fun and stimulating with lots of opportunities to explore and play.
We aim to ensure a successful group walk for every dog involved, every time. All the dogs in our group walks become great friends and really look forward to seeing each other, wagging their tails, they just seem to know when it’s time to go!

Where We Go:
Beecraigs is definitely one of our favourite parks for dog walking adventures. We are always made to feel welcome with the dogs and with 370 hectares of beautiful parkland to explore it’s a new and fun experience for the dogs every time we go.
There’s so much to see and so many walks within the park, all the dogs are busy exploring their environment, sniffing and having a good time. There are plenty of open spaces where the dogs can run around freely off leash and the park is very clean and well maintained, it’s nature on our doorstep
Almondell is another one of our favourite dog friendly parks we frequent often when group walking dogs. It’s a beautiful unspoilt park situated on the outskirts of Livingston. We usually start our walk from the Mid Calder entrance. The river Almond runs through the park and there are some fantastic walks both riverside and woodland trails that the dogs love.
There are various levels to the park and footpaths which helps us to find a walk suitable for dogs with varying exercise requirements or in poor weather conditions.
Dechmont Law is the hill at the peak of Livingston. It’s situated South West of Dechmont Village and has been a firm favourite for us dog walkers for years.
There are beautiful views of the countryside and wide open spaces which the dogs adore playing and running around in. As stated, it’s a hill so there’s plenty of exercise going on!
Dogs and dog walkers love it!
